John Finger

John Finger is a veteran writer and digital storyteller with deep roots in Pennsylvania. For 16 years, he served as a chief editor, producer, and writer for Comcast SportsNet, covering the most successful era in Philadelphia sports history. His work spans national outlets including ESPN.com, The Associated Press, and NBC Sports. He is also the author of a completed novel. A sixth-generation Lancastrian and graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School, John holds a B.A. in American Studies from Temple University and is currently completing his M.F.A. in Creative Writing at Drexel University. When not writing, he’s likely training for his next marathon or searching for a good story — preferably one with a little humor in it.
